Tung Shing Square

Tung Shing Square is a 14 storey 10,000m2 B-grade office tower with floor plates ranging from approx 600 m2 to 800 m2. The building is serviced by 2 high speed lifts, central ducted, water-cooled Carrier air-conditioning system, integrated fire system including hydrants to all floors, Belgium made double glazing, 100% emergency power and 24 hour security patrol.

The location is extremely central, being the closest international standard office building to downtown Hoan Kiem Lake and the tower commands panoramic views over The Red River and Hoan Kiem Lake from the 7th floor & upwards. A temporary 2 level showroom has been constructed on the adjoining Stage II site. Stage II is now primed for an office, apartment or hotel tower.

The Hanoi Hotel

The Hanoi Hotel is the city’s first international hotel. It opened in 1992 and accommodated leading dignitaries at the time. It is divided into 2 wings, with the ground floor podium connecting the two together. The newer right hand wing comprises 140 rooms, Hanoi’s favourite Chinese restaurant, lobby bar, fast food centre, night club, international restaurant and reception. The left hand wing, provides podium retail space, gaming lounge, massage centre, fitness centre, 78 rooms, the administration offices, staff rooms and shares some facilities with the other tower (e.g. night club).

An extension is being completed to provide for expatriate staff accommodation and a high standard laundry service which will also offer services to other hotels and serviced apartments. www.hanoihotel.com.vn

Golden Westlake Executive Residences

This project comprises 16 x 4 storey freestanding villas, and two symmetrical 25 level towers. Each tower includes 185 apartments ranging from one to six bedrooms and are connected via a ground floor and mezzanine podium.

Golden Westlake is to be serviced by 2 basement level car parks, external visitor parking, private health club, tennis and badminton courts, 3 pools, spa baths, golf practice areas, beach volleyball, children’s play ground, 24 hour reception and concierge, kinder-garden, BBQ & picnic areas and various service retail. Each tower has 4 x 1,100kg lifts, automated fire security system and dual fire exits. The floor plates are divided into up to 10 apartments per floor and tier back approx every 5-6 floors to create large and unique terrace spaces. www.goldenwestalke.com.vn

Hanoi Opera Plaza

By far, Hanoi's best known development site, our group was fortunate to secure this highly coveted site in 2005. Since separating the land from the Hilton Hotel JVC, we have been endeavouring to enhance the existing masterplan to ensure the project is not wasted on inappropriate or obsolete design.

We hope to make this project an icon for the city and a place of great public interest and use.

The current indication is that a building with a 1,000m2 floor plate may be developed (approx 55% cover), with maximum height of 32metres. Concept drawings for a mixed use, office/retail building, with 4 basement levels suggest a GFA of approx 16,500m2 is possible. The feedback from relevant authorities is that the building façade should be neo-classical in form and provide a clear line of sight to the Opera House.

An architectural competition will pave the way to finalising the design in 2006 and it is our intention to open the building by early 2008.
